MEET ALINE ADAMS, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

I grew up in New Orleans, went to college at the University of Georgia, and then began my career in DC at a public affairs firm. After a few years there, I moved back home to work for Zehnder Communications. In 2015, I took time off to earn a yoga teaching certification and spent the summer backpacking through Southeast Asia and Australia. Upon my return home, I enrolled in Tech Talent South’s Code Immersion boot camp, where I was introduced to Aly and John at a hack night. They adopted me, and now I’m honored to be employee #1.

My title at Hop & Jaunt is Account Executive, but my responsibilities are far more diverse than it lets on. As Aly’s “mini-me”, I help her manage daily client communication and projects with our designer, Hannah, as well as the freelancers and vendors we partner with. I assist in writing proposals, marketing plans, and copy when necessary (I’ve dubbed myself the official grammar police – and office DJ). I also design and develop Mailchimp emails and websites in WordPress and Shopify.

Outside of Hop & Jaunt, I teach a weekly Wednesday morning yoga class at Freret Street Yoga. I enjoy spending time with friends and family in the city, trying new restaurants and bars and going to concerts.
